Financial Information

 Endowment:

St. Francis Church Restoration and Building Fund - this fund is used to repair and restore the interior an exterior of the church as necessary.

There are also an Education Endowment and a Cemetery Endowment.

God’s Acre:

One way we can thank God for the “harvest” He has given us is to give a “God’s Acre” gift to the Church sometime in the fall.  A recommended portion is the proceeds from one acre of land.  For those who work on a salary basis, the recommended portion might be the proceeds from one day of labor.

Bazaar Duties:

Each envelope holder is given two books of tickets (10 tickets per book) to sell for the bazaar raffle.  More tickets can be obtained at the parish office.  Each parishioner is asked to donate toward the bazaar expenses and to work at the bazaar.

The women of the parish are assigned (on an average of once a year) to a weekly church-cleaning circle.  Six ladies with one as chairperson are assigned to clean the church during their first week, and to clean the altar, sacristy and care for the flowers during their second week.  A list of duties is on the closet door in the sacristy and on the door of the big wooden cabinet in the back of church.
